As we head into colder weather we all know what that means. Snow. Sometimes it might be a little, sometimes it might be a lot. Either way it's good to be prepared for when there is a big snow dump and you need something to help you get the snow off your car. There are two popular items, the SnoBrum which is over $20 and the Snow Joe which is under $20. Is the under $20 option a better one? Let's find out.
First we have the SnoBrum. Currently going for $29.99 on Amazon and it has a 4.5 star score on over 2,100 ratings.
Then we have the Snow Joe snow remover and ice scraper. Currently on Amazon for $12.99 and it has a 4.5 star score on over 20,000 ratings.
We ran the listings through Fakespot and got an A grade on the SnoBrum and a B grade on the Snow Joe. Which kind of make sense, the more ratings you get the greater chance there might be something a little screwy with them. That said since Snow Joe does have a solid grade we feel we can trust the feedback.
Based on what we see the Snow Joe does have a bit of an edge. Especially in price because the SnoBrum is over twice the price of the Snow Joe. Usually when you have a gap that big you need a really big swing in quality to justify the extra cost. However from what we can see, we find there isn't that much difference between the two products. Add onto the fact that the Snow Joe has the ice scraper as well and it makes it hard for us to not give the final edge to the Snow Joe.
